MiniBees
Walking - 3 years old
A perfect introduction to the BallroomBees class structure. It is an accompanied class where adults and children explore, experience and dance together. Gross motor skills, confidence and body awareness are ignited here, preparing the MiniBees to move to the next age group.

GrowingBees
3 - 4 years old
GrowingBees are developing and creating their understanding of movement. Children learn more about how their body moves and how to coordinate movement with music. Stimulating cognitive movement and familiarity with coordinating movement to music. Etiquette and social skills are introduced and GrowingBees get their first experience of ballroom dancing. The class always ends with a dance party.
HoneyBees
4 - 6 years old
Building on HoneyBees’ love to dance, play and sing but encouraging their discovery of learning being fun by teaching formal dance steps and posture. Still keeping the BallroomBees play-based environment, we now properly introduce the steps of ballroom dancing and we begin to teach children an understanding of partnering and etiquette. When they have finished being HoneyBees, children will have learnt the basics of Waltz, Cha Cha Cha and Jive..

SuperBees
6 - 8 years old
Living up to the SuperBees’ name, these children love to be challenged and they love the partner games of the BallroomBees class structure. Focusing still on coordination and musicality but with more advanced ballroom dancing steps and dances introduced. Their dance repertoire will include the Quickstep, the Samba and the Rumba.
MightyBees
8 - 11 years old
After developing through the BallroomBees age groups, MightyBees are indeed mighty! Choreography is easily learnt and remembered at this stage so children are encouraged to elevate their motor skill learning through increasingly complex dance techniques. Classes remain about the right mix of learning ballroom dancing but with fun and dancing to popular and recognizable music.. At this stage we introduce the Foxtrot and the Paso Doble.
