TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. ENROLLMENT & PAYMENT

By enrolling in a BallroomBees program, students commit to the full duration of the scheduled course package. To secure a placement and ensure consistent class planning, payment must be settled in full on or before the date of the first lesson.

2. CANCELLATIONS BY BALLROOMBEES

Weather Conditions:

To ensure the safety of our students and staff, classes will be automatically cancelled if the Hong Kong Observatory issues the following signals:

  • Black Rainstorm Warning

  • Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above

  • Students will be notified via email or WhatsApp. Please note that as these are safety-mandated closures beyond our control, no refunds will be provided.

Unanticipated Events:

Should a class be cancelled due to venue unavailability, scheduling conflicts, or instructor illness, BallroomBees will arrange a replacement class or credit option accordingly.

Force Majeure (Exclusions):

BallroomBees shall not be held liable or offer make-up classes for sessions cancelled due to Force Majeure - events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of nature, government restrictions, strikes, civil unrest, or public health emergencies.

3. CANCELLATIONS & ABSENCES BY STUDENTS

General Absence:

If a student misses a class without prior written approval from BallroomBees, the session will be charged and deducted from the package. To maintain the financial viability of our small-group sessions, no refunds, make-up classes, or credit notes can be issued once the semester has commenced.

Sick Leave:

We understand that health is a priority. For absences due to illness:

  • Notification must be provided at least two (2) hours prior to class start time.

  • A valid medical certificate must be submitted.

  • Under these conditions, a make-up class will be arranged within the current term.

4. GUARDIAN ATTENDANCE POLICY

Except for our MiniBees (accompanied) program, all BallroomBees classes are "drop-off" sessions. We kindly request guardians to remain outside the classroom.

  • Our experience shows that children progress significantly faster and engage more deeply when they have a dedicated, independent learning space. This allows our instructors to maintain the highest quality of focus and minimize distractions for all students.

  • We look forward to showcasing our dancers' progress during our end-of-term viewing sessions.

5. CONDUCT & UNIFORM

Our mission is to foster an environment of joy and dance. To ensure a professional and cohesive atmosphere:

  • All students, parents, and guardians are expected to respect BallroomBees policies.

  • Punctuality is essential to avoid disrupting the flow of the lesson.

  • BallroomBees uniform, including dance shoes are to be worn in class.

  • Polite conduct and mutual respect are expected from all attendees and guardians.

6. DISCOUNTS & PROMOTIONS

BallroomBees may offer periodic promotional pricing. These offers are time-sensitive. If a customer does not utilize a specific promotion during its active period, any subsequent compensation or retrospective discounting is at the sole discretion of BallroomBees.

7. MEDIA & COMMUNICATION

  • Photos/Videos: By enrolling, guardians grant BallroomBees permission to use photographs and video footage taken during class for marketing, promotional materials, and social media.

  • Contact: By signing up, you opt-in to the BallroomBees mailing list for essential updates and news. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link provided in our emails.

8. LIABILITY WAIVER

Participants enroll in BallroomBees Limited programs at their own risk. BallroomBees, including its employees, staff, and officers, shall not be held liable for any damages arising from personal injury or loss/damage of personal property during or in connection with our classes.
