Terms And Conditions 

LIABILITY:

By enrolling with Ballroombees Limited (BallroomBees), the participant does so at their own risk.  Ballroom Bees, their employees, staff and officers shall not be liable for any damage whatsoever arising from personal injury or loss of property.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR BALLROOMBEES CLASSES

When a student enrolls in a BallroomBees program, they are committing to the duration of the course package. Payment should be made in full for whichever class or package has been scheduled on or before the first lesson.

CLASSES CANCELLED BY BALLROOMBEES

WEATHER
Classes will be canceled should the HK Observatory raise the following signals. - Black Storm Warning
- Typhoon No.8 Signal and above.
The students will be informed by email or WhatsApp and no refund will be provided.

UNANTICIPATED EVENTS
In the event any classes are subsequently canceled due to unanticipated cancellation of venue, conflict in times, or teachers, BallroomBees will arrange a replacement option accordingly.

EXCLUSIONS
No make-up classes can be offered due to force majeure; non-controllable events due to noncontrollable events like wars, civil riots, acts of terrorism, acts of nature, fires, strikes, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond BallroomBees' control.

COVID-19
In the event that the HKSAR Government should inform BallroomBees that we are unable to run classes due to an outbreak of COVID-19, BallroomBees will arrange a replacement option accordingly at a later date.

 

CLASSES CANCELLED BY STUDENTS
If your child does not show up and misses a class without prior written approval from BallroomBees, the class will be charged and deducted from their package. No refund will be made in such cases. Refunds, make-up classes, or credit notes cannot be made once the semester has started. For sick leave, at least 2 hours of notification in advance is required with a doctor's note provided. Make-up classes will be arranged for a sick leave of absence.

CONDUCT:

It is our Mission for all candidates to enjoy the class with the greatest amount of fun and joy.  We kindly ask all candidates, parents and guardians to respect the policies enforced by BallroomBees, to ensure that the allocated uniform is worn at all times, the class members are punctual and general manners and polite conduct are encouraged during the class duration.

This privacy policy sets out the basis for processing any personal data we collect from you or that you provide to us. Please read the following carefully to understand our practices regarding your personal data. Depending on the purpose for which you are providing your personal data, for the purpose of the Data Protection Act (the ‘Act’), the data controller (or entity responsible for the data collected) will be us. Within the context of this policy ‘we’ means BallroomBees Limited.

We collect information from you when you enquire on our site, via email, via the phone, in person, or fill out a form.

 

Information acquired

  • If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence. If you send us personal information which identifies you via email, we may keep your email and email address.

  • Details of your visits to the Websites include, but are not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs, and other communication data, and the resources that you access.

  • We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system, and browser type, for system administration. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.

  • We also install closed circuit television (“CCTV”) in public areas of our premises primarily for general security purposes to protect the safety of customers and the staff, business assets, intellectual property or other proprietary rights.

We use personal information held about you in the following ways:

  • To send weekly newsletters and periodical Marketing materials

  • To improve our Website

  • To protect the safety of individuals and properties

Disclosure of your data

  • The email address will be used to send you our weekly newsletters, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, etc.

  • If you would like to unsubscribe from future emails at any time, please let us know, and we will take you out of our distribution list.

  • Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent.

  • We will not transfer any of your data to any third parties without your permission or unless indicated in this privacy policy or agreed by you.

  • We will never sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information for marketing.

  • We may disclose the CCTV records to third parties including regulatory authorities and law enforcement agencies where it is necessary in order to respond to any legal processes or to investigate any incidents or complaints, etc.

 

Where we store your data

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (‘EEA’). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff may be engaged in, among other things, the fulfillment of your order, the processing of your payment details, and the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data to us, you agree to this transfer, storing, or processing. Images of individuals might be captured and stored by the CCTV during recording when you use our physical facilities.  We will take all necessary steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes.

If you wish to change your mailing preferences or opt-out of specific marketing communications sent from BallroomBees, you may notify us via our Contact us form. Alternatively, you may contact us on info@ballroombees.com. It may take up to 14 days for the changes to come into effect.

 

Access to information

The Act gives you the right to access data information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee (as amended from time to time) to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.

The CCTV records cannot be accessed unless access is granted by regulatory authorities or authorized personnel only.

We will take reasonable steps to create an accurate record of any personal data you have submitted. However, we do not assume responsibility for confirming the ongoing accuracy of your personal data.
